Wrong layername produces nullpointer exception
----------------------------------------------
Key: GEOS-3664
URL: http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/GEOS-3664
Project: GeoServer
Issue Type: Improvement
Components: WCS
Affects Versions: 2.0.0
Environment: Linux 64bit, Java 1.6.16
Reporter: Steven M. Ottens
Assignee: Andrea Aime
If I request a non-existing coverage (eg. a typo in the layer name) I get a
nullpointer exception. It is not immediately clear for the user what is causing
the error.
I would expect an error message explaining that it could not find a layer with
that name.
