A configure parameter exists for coverage store REST PUTs which instructs
GeoServer to auto-configure the coverage that the store contains. This is
currently only possible when loading the coverages via PUT and not with POST or
PUT updates to the coverage store. The ability to auto-configure coverage
stores via REST should be added to POST or PUT updates on coverage stores, so
that large datasets do not have to be reloaded.
