What I meant was, the change should not be big, and since there has
not been much KML interest lately I may be wasting people time,
but since it's new functionality I wanted to tell everybody what
I was doing anyways.

I don't think it is, but developing it might prove me wrong.
What about you review the patch once it's ready, so we can both
look into it and see if it's GSIP worthy?

In the meantime, any comment, from anyone, on the actual functionality
introduced?
