WMS request fails from a WFS data store

When using WMS to retrieve a layer that uses a WFS data store a
java.util.ConcurrentModificationException occasionally happens. Also I noticed
that another "info" statement and NullPointerException are also occur
occasionally for this feature type during WMS requests.
Attached are the errors from the log file.
