Ha ha! At the moment the rules of the game are being defined. So imho the best way to contribute is to sign up on the osgeo-benchmarking list (http://lists.osgeo.org/mailman/listinfo/benchmarking) and participate in the discussion some way, or just listen and share ideas/concerns on irc/gs list.
