Error reading metadata on GeoTIFF store load
--------------------------------------------

                 Key: GEOS-4077
                 URL: http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/GEOS-4077
             Project: GeoServer
          Issue Type: Bug
    Affects Versions: 2.0.2
            Reporter: Jason Newmoyer
            Assignee: Andrea Aime
         Attachments: screenshot.jpg, stacktrace.txt

When trying to create a new store of type "GeoTIFF" I get an exception and the
following error displayed in the UI -

"Could not list layers for this store, an error occurred retrieving them:
Unable to acquire a reader for this coverage with format: GeoTIFF"

I am using FWTools OpenEV GDAL Export Tool to create GeoTIFFs from NOAA RNCs
(http://www.charts.noaa.gov/RNCs/RNCs.shtml). About half of the resulting tiffs
that I have created load perfectly and the layers render very nicely. The other
half run into this error when loading the store. I have examined the metadata
fields using OpenEV and the only difference I can see between the ones that
work and the ones that don't is there seems to be an extra metadata field
"Origin: 0 0" in the ones that don't. I have attached the stacktrace from the
console and a screenshot of the export metadata fields from OpenEV.

I am using the GDAL export tool with GTiff Output Format and creation options
"COMPRESS=DEFLATE,PROFILE=GeoTIFF" I have also tried different create options
including PROFILE=BASELINE, no compression, COMPRESS=LZW, TILED=YES, etc.
