I'm following instructions on http://docs.geoserver.org/stable/en/developer/programming-guide/ows-services/implementing.html
to learn how to implement custom OWS service.. I pretty much followed all the initial instructions and copied hello-1.0.jar in C:\geoserver-2.0.2\webapps\geoserver\WEB-INF\lib and restarted geoserver when I go to http://localhost:8080/geoserver/ows?request=sayHello&service=hello&version=1.0.0 I get <ows:ExceptionReport version="1.0.0" xsi:schemaLocation=" http://www.opengis.net/ows http://localhost:8080/geoserver/schemas/ows/1.0.0/owsExceptionReport.xsd";> - <ows:Exception exceptionCode="InvalidParameterValue" locator="service"> <ows:ExceptionText>No service: ( hello )</ows:ExceptionText> </ows:Exception> </ows:ExceptionReport> geoserver logs below. any ideas why this would be?
