jsessionid added to some URL links on first page of a new session despite

When opening home page or login page in a new session,
jsessionid is added to some URL links such as Layer Preview on left nav,
despite browser supports cookie. If the page is refreshed, the jsessionid is
removed from the link. jsessionid makes the URL not bookmarkable. The problem
is likely a bug in geoserver (or underlying technolgy it relies on such as
wicket) rather than the servlet container because:
1. only some links have jsessionid. Other links such as service capabilities on
right hand side are not affected
2. the problem is reproduced on both Tomcat 6.0.14 and the built-in jetty
servlet container.
