I did some timing on my local machine of mvn 2 vs 3 and I don't see much of
a difference between them but when i do parallel build I get a good speed
up!
geotools with mvn 2: 7:54
geotools with mvn 3: 7:48
geotools with mvn 3 -T 2C (2 threads per core): 5:12
geoserver with mvn 2: 9:00
geoserver with mvn 3: 8:39
geoserver with mvn 3 -T 2C: 6:42
