layergroup name with ':' not working on windows

Building a layergroup with the name test:layer_1 results in a 0 byte layerfile
on a windows system and after a restart of geoserver the layergroup is gone.
Using a linux server it is fine. My idea was to fake a namespace for this
layergroup.
