Hi Anna,

what exactly do you mean by "Open Source ArcSDE"?
Do  you mean the GeoTools ArcSDE plugin and the GeoServer extension
that uses it? because afaik there's no such a thing as an Open Source
ArcSDE?
Or do you rather mean this old write up from Chris Holmes
