Steps to reproduce:

  • create new workspace
  • create new postgis store
  • create new layer out of postgis store (does not have native srid, don't think it's relevant)
  • save with default style
  • preview in OL

Boom, the NPE is in StyleInfoImpl.getStyle (assuming the "catalog" object is not populated but needs investigation)
