When I joined GeoServer I was still working on it and trying to to get
diagrams built,
but as all attempts to keep diagrams up to date, including this one, failed
so I just
gave up.
UMLGraph often generates too complex diagrams, to keep it at bay one has to
annotate sources which is a maintenance chore... in the end if one really
needs
UML diagrams it's probably better to use one of the many interactive reverse
engineering tools that allow to drag and drop from sources into diagrams,
get
an understanding, and then throw away the diagram (it will be useless in six
months/one year anyways).
