great work on the migration; very much appreciated. Everything is
looking pretty good.
One small issue is that the git revision and branch are not being set in
src/target/VERSION.txt; this incomplete version information is included
in assembled release artifacts. For example:
version = 2.3-SNAPSHOT
git revision = ${build.commit.id}
git branch = ${build.branch}
build date = 20120705-1033
geotools version = 9-SNAPSHOT
geotools revision = e85486db3e01100d94864ab97c35c7028690014c
hudson build = -1
