Clarification, beta1 was actually scheduled for Dec 21 but there was nobody
doing it, so I guess this will be the one
and only beta we make?
One month hardening, and then we start directly with RC1 Feb 21, aiming for
a final by March 21th? That would
complete the 6 months cycle.

As for the "rush", look at how many GSIPs we have around about to be
committed, I believe it's unavoidable.
That said, it's exaclty why we have harderning past it, everything still
and only bug fixes coming in.
