Ok, just created the 2.3.x branch (so far I've forgotten to change the
version numbers in
the pom's, going to do so tomorrow morning, or if you want to go ahead, be
my guest):
https://github.com/geoserver/geoserver/tree/2.3.x
Now, theoretically the branch should have been done from the 2.3-beta1 tag
(minus
the pom changes), but that would have required backports from trunk to 2.3.x
of everything that was changed in the last few days.
Looked at the changes, they look like documentation and fixes, so I kept
them in.
