Description:

Hello
I have compared the quality of vector rendering between Mapnik and GeoServer. The obvious difference is with the quality of vector antialiasing. The image rendered by GeoServer is fuzzy. I need to sharpen it with Photoshop to get something similar to what Mapnik is able to do.
Is it a known issue or something specific to my environment ?
Should i switch to JRE 1.6 instead of JRE 1.7 ?
I have included 2 snapshots for you to compare
Regards
