The Python extension allows us to return several types of results already, but the internal type mapping is not always clear to us...
For instance there are some shipped WPS processes, which produce an "*.img" file as raw WPS output. We would love to be able to do the same with files we created with our WPS Python Script - The result would be a file download dialog in the user browser! The best way I could think of is returning a Python file handler from the Python script and Geoserver returns this file as answer of the WPS process.
This would be a quite important feature for us as it gives us a lot of flexibility with the WPS & Python extension!
