Hi everybody,
recently we did some work on the mapfish-print module and in that context
we tested the 2.0-SNAPSHOT version and found that it could be very easy to
upgrade the printing module to use that version instead of the old 1.2
(just replace a jar and add some configuration into an
applicationContext.xml).
The new version has many new options for configuring layouts.
We also did some work on our fork to add some new legend related
functionalities.
So, what do you think of upgrading the printing module to use the new
version?
What we were thinking was to create a new build of mapfish-print from our
fork (since a 2.0 official release is not available yet) and deploy that on
our maven repo, then update the Geoserver print module dependencies to use
the new version.
Opinions?
Regards,
Mauro Bartolomeoli
