Issue Type: Improvement Improvement
Assignee: Daniele Romagnoli
Components: REST
Created: 07/Jan/14 5:45 AM
Description:

As per [1] it would be great to allow a delete operation on Structured GridCoverage Readers.

It would also be good to integrate this capability in GeoServer through REST delete coverageStore call [2].
On such a topic we should also add a new "purge" parameter beside the "recurse" one [3] for the delete op.
It may have 3 values:
none --> the default... to be backward compatible with the current REST delete store behaviour)
metadata -> in order to delete only metadata, and auxiliary files... no granules will be deleted)
all -> in order to delete everything (metadata and granules too)
