This was only on our live server until I reset our pre-production server (which has the exact same config and is copied nightly to the live server) - then it exhibited on the pre-production too. So I guess something became corrupted in one of the files. Despite the implication that the issue is with "Historical_Maps:2500ep1Warwickshire_processed" (the last working layer) - it's almost certainly not. That layer has been untouched for many months. I've already deleted the previous candidate which was the last item on this list and the issue didn't change - it just moved. Historical_Maps:2500ep1Warwickshire_processed - is a GeoTIFF. The previous candidate was an Oracle layer. Attached are debug level logs. Also included are the getcapabilities, plus the "previous error.xml" - which is the what it said before I deleted the last apparently-guilty layer (it was blaming "Public_HS2:AGC_FARM_HOLDINGS" - now deleted).
