In my case it's failing in both maven and the IDE, so it's not likely to be
Eclipse, but I use Eclipse Kepler SR1
The rest is Ubuntu 12.04, 64 bit, and the above mentioned JDK versions.
I work in my home folder, so I have full permissions
My hunch is that it's file system iteration order, we are probably getting
the imageio/coverage readers
iterate in a different way (believe there is nothing we can do to make that
order predictable)
