As already reported on the users mailing list the combination of qgis and the server i'm using is fatal to WFS. Each time I try to commit changes made in qgis, the update fails and I can't use WFS until I restart geoserver. After locking WFS with qgis I tried a DescribeFeatureType using the demo tool and I got what's in attached file. Developer logging was enabled. There's a stream of garbage characters after the closing DescibeFeatureType tag of the request. I don't know if that is the expected result at that debug level. The request timeouts.
I got a similar behaviour (Qgis stopping wfs) using:
-
geoserver 2.5 installed with opengeo suite 4.1
-
geoserver 2.6 installed with opengeo suite 4.5
-
geoserver 2.6.2 installed in parallel with gs 2.6/opengeo suite 4.5 (I mean that I'm running it in parallel with the opengeo version, but they point to different data dirs)
