We have a number of extensions/community modules using different versions
of scala.
In reviewing https://github.com/geoserver/geoserver/pull/973 I would like
to ask if we need a root pom.xml entry for this under dependency management?
community/geomesa uses version 2.10.4
extension/css 2.7.7
community/script ... transitive dependency?
