I would like to backport a couple of improvements to 2.7.x and 2.6.x.
GEOS-6946: this is related to GEOT-5052 and introduces support for cql
expression in SLD ColorMapEntry attributes in WMS GetLegendGraphic (

GEOS-6947: this is about supporting variables defined in various places
(system properties, OS environment variables, web.xml) in freemarker
templates for HTML GetFeatureInfo (
