I caught astrodog on IRC this weekend, and we have the following compromise:
jgarnett: one thing that is tricky is that we are holding off updating any
tickets
jgarnett: since we are not sure if yoru work will overwrite their closed,
resolution, fixed version etc...
astrodog: jgarnett: I can check to see if a ticket has been closed, and if
so, ignore it.
astrodog: So you guys can close them out without causing a problem.
astrodog: Actually... why don't we just go with "If it's not set to 'Open',
the migrator will not change the status."
astrodog: That way, if you have something that supercedes whats in
Codehaus, you can just work normally. If the status isn't "Open", then the
migrator can just skip over that ticket for statuses.
So let us start closing / resolving issues as they are fixed, so our
release notes are correct.
