I think my pull request https://github.com/geoserver/geoserver/pull/1174 was 
one that had the build failure that Jody was talking about. However, at the 
time I submitted it the build worked on my machine but failed on all three of 
the build job environments on Travis. I went back to check the error messages 
today to see what I had missed but now the Travis report indicates that the 
first two build jobs succeeded and only the oraclejdk8 one failed. I don't 
understand how this works but how come the Travis builds seem to have been 
re-run a second time without me doing anything to the pull request?

I'm going to push a rebase of my pull request on the latest master, including 
Andrea's fixes, now so we'll see whether that builds OK on Travis (it is OK on 
my machine) but I'd like to understand the process of triggering build jobs on 
Travis works a bit better.
