Ciao Jeff, this could be interesting to look at once again ( I did look at opencv a few times in the past).
GeoServer is heavily based on JAI but it could be possible to hide OpenCV behind it. Did you had some thoughts on how to move forward or this is just an initial approach trying to gather info on feasibility?
