Hi, Now I feel old! Its good to see all the changes in Geoserver's community!
I think I was part of the Geotools Project Management Committee; http://docs.geotools.org/latest/developer/roles/committee.html I'm very excited to get back into Geoserver/Geotools again - I see lot of existing functionality and tonnes of potential!
