On WIndows 7 vm:
geoserver-2.9.-RC1.bin - works fine
geoserver-2.9-RC1.exe - fails to start manually with
G:\Program Files (x86)\GeoServer 2.9-RC1\bin>call
"G:\java\jre\bin\java.exe" -DGY=geoserver -Djetty.port=8080
-Djetty.logs="G:\Program Files (x86)\GeoServer 2.9
WARNING: Module not found [ssl]
WARNING: Nothing to start, exiting ...
Usage: java -jar start.jar [options] [properties] [configs]
java -jar start.jar --help # for more information
Which looks like the same problem the basic jetty starter had before.
