Hi,
I would like to prepare a proposal (GSIP) with some improvements to the
GetLegendGraphics WMS operation.
The improvements are related to some new options (LEGEND_OPTIONS) to
introduce:
- horizontal rendering layout of icons (on a row instead of on a column):
layout option with vertical (default) and horizontal accepted values
- multicolumn / multirow rendering driven by columnHeight / rowWidth
option(s)
- multicolumn / multirow rendering driven by a fixed # of columns / rows
We should also permit specifying both # of columns / rows with max height
/ width. In this case, the final legend can be truncated if it exceeds the
given limits.
Any feedbacks before I prepare the proposal?
