1. Wanted to leave the current code as much as possible similar to the original
one. Just extending it.
2. (more technical) The current login button is a form with fields. The
proposal is for links to endpoints redirecting to external login pages.
Modifying the actual login button in order to be compatible with the new API
means basically to introduce more complexity and render full wicket panels with
custom controls. We can do this, but it will require users to write also custom
code for the login buttons instead of a simple XML configuration.
