Hi Torben,
the only thing that keeps on bugging me about OL3 is that is not as good as
a teaching tool for WMS protocol
as OL2 was due to its canvas use.

When doing workshops it was nice and simple to just right click the map in
the preview and show people that it
was indeed just an image and its URL was a getmap, now one has to open the
developer tools, switch to network,
and show things there, which is one technical step too far away for newbies
(in particular those not used to
web development).

That said.. oh well, no big deal, sometimes one cannot improve one thing
without making others regress, as long
as most people are happy about it I believe we're good.
