Hi folks,
I recently merged the change for GEOS-7960
<https://osgeo-org.atlassian.net/browse/GEOS-7960> to master and was
wondering about a backport since it’s not a bug fix. There are also
technically some api additions as well. Not sure what the policy is on back
porting these types of things so thought I would ask. If it’s not
appropriate that is fine, I can work with a local patch, albeit less ideal.
