Hi Nuno,
I quickly glanced over the specification and I can only find KVP examples
using TYPENAMES,
typename is used in the XML.
That said, if GeoServer has bee using TYPENAME until now I'd keep it for
backwards compatibility,
so yes, I agree we should be supporting both like the reference
implementation
