I saw the presentation State Of GeoServer 2017, but the geoserver-br
mailing list was not mentioned, so I'll like to present the numbers in
Brazil so that you can present at a new opportunity, if you find it
interesting:
- 600 members and more than 5,500 messages in the GeoServer-BR mailing
list, which has been active for more 10 years (since May 2007).
- 214 posts in Portuguese only on Fernando Quadro's blog about GeoServer
(since April 2007), including tips, tutorials, release information, events,
among other related things. Without to mention other GIS blogs that publish
something about GeoServer in Portuguese.
- 135 people trained in 14 classes of the Online Course of GeoServer in a
total of 168 hours of training in 5 years of Geocursos existence, this
being the only GeoServer Online Course in Portuguese in the world today.
- GeoServer is the official spatial data infrastructure server in Brazil
since 2010, and is widely distributed among companies and government
agencies.
GeoServer grows every day in Brazil, and more and more companies use it to
interoperate data here.
