Any and all Spring MVC 4 expertise would be helpful. The new controllers
are getting mapped to any uri. So as an example.
../demo/layers/topp:states.xml resolves just as ../rest/layers.. resolves
with the difference of bypassing security when using any uri not containing
rest.
