Ian,
I suspect it might have something to do with the GWC security improvements
made by Kevin. I'm currently trying to finish the integration of the GWC
rest api upgrade with GeoServer, I'll keep an I open, and let you know if I
come across anything. If by chance I'm able to integrate, I'll work with
Jody to get a PR out because I think this is working in the branch I'm
using from Kevin. Unfortunately, Kevin is on holiday this week.
