In reviewing https://github.com/geoserver/geoserver/pull/2553 I noticed the
following:
*The geoserver.org <http://geoserver.org>
> and http://geoserver.org/download/ <http://geoserver.org/download/> pages
> show 2.12-RC1 as the current stable release. This is incorrect as RC1 is a
> development release (not intended for production use). Stable (and
> maintenance) should always point to a production ready download.*
The developers guide does ask that "stable" website entries be updated for
RC1. I am uncomfortable with this - can we change it?
