I was in touch with David Blasby to get our GeoSever books and videos featured
on geoserver.org. As per the conversation I had with him, he told me it would
be appropriate to contact the geoserver-devel list for this request.
I was wondering if I am writing to the right contact.
I’d like to let you know that we have recently published a book “ GeoServer
Beginner's Guide - Second Edition ” by Stefano Iacovella. This book is a
step-by-step guide which teaches the developers how to use GeoServer to build
custom and interactive maps using the data.
We have also published a video “ Fundamentals of Geoserver ” by Ben Mearns.This
video is a fast-paced guide to understanding the foundations of GeoServer and
how it works.
I was wondering if you can help by getting these titles featured on GeoServer
website . I see that three of Packt’s books are featured on the website, one of
them being the First edition of GeoServer Beginner’s Guide . Featuring the
Second edition will give developers more detailed insight about the topic.
If this is not the right developer mailing list, then we would appreciate if
you could share the correct mailing list, so that we can take the discussion
further.
