Hi, we are upgrading to the latest Hazelcast in order to get compatible with JDK11 (see https://github.com/geoserver/geoserver/tree/jdk11 ). The hz-module depends on a https://github.com/hazelcast/hazelcast-wm plugin that has not been updated since late 2017... I don't quite see an equivalent functionality in the latest version of Hazelcast, I've also tried to push it up to the latest, 3.8.3, but the way it integrates with the hazelcast changed, no more possible to give it a hazelcast instance it seems.
