The Spring 5.1 branch was tested on a bunch of different machines and
configurations.
I've also built a system independant binary off that branch, and tested it
against a 2.14 data dir with some encrypted postgis credentials, and all
the passwords seemed to work fine.

Monitor hibernate was failing tests after the Spring 5.1 update. Since it
was a community module, it has been removed from the communityRelease
profile until a maintainer can fix it.

The Spring 5 branch has been merged into jdk11 and should be stable.

Kevin has been looking into split packages for GWC, still in progress
here: https://github.com/smithkm/geowebcache/tree/jdk11-split

*Next steps*:

   - The bulk of what is left is moving split packages around; see Jody's
update for more details about the GeoTools split packages.
   - Jim and Jody believe that none of the EMF modules have split packages,
so if Ian's work becomes ready to merge it won't conflict wth the repackage.
   - GeoServer split packages still need resolving
   - Apart from that, more testing is always good. If anyone could make a
table of what testing has been done, that would be appreciated.
   - We should also start putting together a blog post describing the
   sprint and thanking sponsors, etc.
