Hi Mauro, +1, please proceed with PR. Upgrading modules is a bit of a pain for me, so many things to change, just in case, here are a few reminders:
- Change groupId (should have "community" in it) - Update web/app/pom.xml profile for the module to follow suit - Move the assembly descriptors from community/release to release and update the main and community pom accordingly - Move the documentation to extension - Run the QA profile on the module, as in extension it's on by default (community modules are not subject to those checks) - Create a new release template in the web site repo, at https://github.com/geoserver/geoserver.github.io/tree/master/_layouts that includes a link to the new module - In case of backport, careful wit the PR, all version numbers must be re-aligned I probably have forgot something but it's a start.
