It's still a draft since I need some additional tuning on building the zip with all the needed dependencies, and it still depends on a snapshot version of imageio-ext. I made a few changes and bug fixes on the work done so far by Josh Fix on ImageIO-Ext. He was the main contributor of the new imageio-ext cog readers and streams, thanks for that. I will release a new imageio-ext version when done and update the GT/GS poms to depend on the released version when finalizing the Pull Request.
