See here https://github.com/geoserver/geoserver/blob/main/src/community/ogcapi/ogcapi-features/src/main/java/org/geoserver/ogcapi/features/FeatureService.java#L303. So it is not possible to specify spatial filter expressions with geometries which are not present in WGS84.
