About the GT bit... If I run the online tests from IntelliJ, I see no problem. So I'm guessing the issue might be in the Github action script <https://github.com/geotools/geotools/blob/50047e9843330dc270404d3b333cec2f0d8cc453/.github/workflows/elasticsearch_online.yml>, but I don't see anything strange there either.
