Hi Andrea, good idea indeed. Unfortunately, the build won't work out of the box (I now know you know from comments in another pr). I've created this draft PR to follow up on this: https://github.com/geoserver/geoserver/pull/7207 So far `mvn clean install` works for the core modules, will try -Prelease,communityRelease later, I'd expect some may fail though.
