Hi Cecile,
the expectation of same behavior in map and legend does not match reality.
When building a map, the SLD is given actual features from your dataset,
each of which is used to evaluate functions line endPoint and endAngle.
When building the legend instead, there is no data access, the legend code
tries to make up a fake feature conforming to the structure of
the underlying data set, complex styles using will fail to evaluate
against it.

Arrows at the end of lines would need dedicated code in the legend
generator to recognize them, do something sensible to support it,
and also reserve the extra space for the arrow in the symbol ... it would
not be trivial to implement.

I'd recommend creating a custom legend by hand instead, and configuring it
as a static legend.

Cheers
Andrea
