Dear Anna-Lena, At the current state it seems that there is no workaround to avoid the issue you are facing without enabling the i18n support. Note however that you should be able to enable i18n for Contact information as well and add the de entries for the contact fields that you need. Mind that you will have to enable i18n as well for all the mandatory fields of service and layers (eg title) otherwise in the capabilities you will see an error message telling you that the entry doesn't have i18n content.
