Hi Andrea and others, Thank you again for the message. I manually removed the index file, sample data and properties file and allowed geoserver to create them from scratch. This worked. It seems there were some breaking (?) changes in that between the versions. Would be nice to figure out what, but I reckon I can just check changelogs.
